Use Primer Paint For A Job Well Done

When you start a new painting project, primer paint is often the first step to ensure your work looks great and lasts for a long time. Use our primers outdoors or indoors, and over a variety of surfaces to guarantee a durable, seamless paint job.

Eliminate Stains For A Fresh Start

Forrest primer paint helps block stains and prevents them from seeping through your topcoat. Whether the surface you’re working on is covered with crayon, marred with smoke or grease stains, our primer will set you up for a fresh and uniform paint finish.

Primer Paint For Bare Wood

Whenever you need to paint over bare wood, use a primer first. Applying a primer will lead to a consistent finish across your entire wood surface. Our Stain Blocking Primer works well on both interior and exterior surfaces and grips wood to provide excellent adhesion for whatever next coat of paint you apply.

Drywall Primer That Works

When you are painting drywall, make sure to use a primer designed for that purpose. Drywall, and especially mudding products used to finish drywall, can be highly absorbent and require a lot of paint. Drywall Primer helps your top coat go further!
For drywall, we recommend using a water-based primer for easy clean up. Oil-based primer paint raises the grain of drywall and leads to a finish that looks uneven.

FORREST Stain Blocking Primer
Forrest Stain Blocking Primer acts as a base coat for any interior or exterior paint job. Use it on bare wood, stripped houses, or over surfaces that may have residual oils or stains. As a gripping primer, it can be used on just about any surface except directly to metal. We recommend using this primer anytime a house is stripped to bare wood and before caulking.
